The intention of creating a vision board is, above all, to take a moment to feel: What do I want this year? Where will I focus my attention? And how will I move to achieve it? Surely the universe conspires in our favor, but I believe it’s a team effort. I can’t just sit and wait for things to happen simply because I’ve already manifested and created my map of dreams (vision board).

Dreams and intentions must be accompanied by responsibility, action, and a clear purpose. It’s about finding my "why": What truly drives me? Why do I want this? And if we dig deeper: What is my real purpose? One that is not tainted by ego, by "shoulds," or by the need to prove something to someone.
I know that for some of us it’s easier to identify what drives us, while for others, answering that question can be truly challenging. But perhaps the key lies in giving ourselves the necessary time to reflect. Asking ourselves: Why do I do what I do? What impact does this have on my life and on others? How do I feel while doing it?
Our body can be a great guide in this process. Listening to what it tells us while we carry out an activity opens the door to a world of meaningful questions. If we pay attention, our body sends us clear signals: if I feel short of breath, if my chest feels tight, or if I experience tension, that experience is trying to tell me something. It’s as if my body speaks a language I need to learn to interpret.
Turning inward allows me to connect with my truth. Asking myself: Does this really make me happy? Do I feel peace and fulfillment while doing it? In this conscious listening, I can begin to decipher the messages my body and my heart send me. I then take responsibility for my feelings, refining my ability to understand myself better, and making decisions aligned with what I truly need.
When I begin to give space to this purpose, my feelings become clearer, and over time, I gain greater clarity. I believe that emotions are compasses. They show us what matters, what moves us, and also what we need to let go of. When I feel enthusiasm, curiosity, or even a touch of nervousness, I know I’m close to something worthwhile. My intuition is that inner voice that tells me, “This is for you.” Listening to it is not always easy, especially in a world full of noise, but when I do, I find answers that logic alone cannot provide. Designing a vision board from this place of emotional honesty ensures that every image, every word, holds true meaning for me.
It’s easy to fall into the trap of wanting everything immediately, but I’ve learned that real change takes time. Yes, taking action is essential, but so is trusting. Some seeds take time to grow, and it’s in that waiting where we learn to appreciate the process. Taking action means moving toward your dreams, but also learning to let go, to not obsess over the outcome. I trust that what is meant for me will arrive at the perfect moment, and in the meantime, I keep moving forward, step by step, with faith and determination.
Today, I want to invite you to pause and connect with yourself. Ask yourself: What do I truly want this year? Why do I want it? What meaning does it hold for me? Creating a vision board is much more than cutting out pretty pictures and pasting them on paper. It’s an act of introspection, commitment, and self-love. If you take the time to listen, to feel, and to dream, you’ll discover a path that is uniquely yours. So why not start now? Life is waiting for you to take the first step.
